Further changes and modifications on the portal

Here is a list of changes that we still have to make:
- "Media" page: add a filter "by Content Type"
- Profile photos: photo resolution hasn´t improved yet. How to improve the settings?
- "Photo album" function: Would be good to have an overview over "recently added photos on the home page", in the left column, below - is there a module (functionality) for that?
- Email adresses: Does anyone already have "@betacodex.org" email adress? I think I haven´t! Can every user have one? Where can we add this functionality?
- "Pioneer Case Studies" page (main menu) - here, we want to add a table for this specific kind of media (to be saved in slideshare)
Anything else, everyone?

User problem
A user wrote to me about the following problem:
He wanted to invite another person to the portal, but got the message:
"Sorry, you´ve reached the maximum number of invitations" - even though he had never invited anybody!
Another user already told me about this problem, a couple of weeks ago?
Is it possible that this is a simple configuration problem and that normal users currently are simply not allowed to invite? That would explain it...

Further changes on the website
Hi Marcelo,
- filter "by Content Type" for MEDIA: I don´t get the thing with the "crack! Because currently, the "SLIDES" page doesn´t HAVE the filter "By content type". It only filters "by subject" and "by language" - which makes a lot of sense, because there is only ONE content type here: Presentations! We have another Filter on the page "PAPERS", but that is calles "DOC type", not "CONTENT type".
Anyway, if the ONLY problem with the CONTENT type filter would be that "Presentation" would appear, but nothing would be found there, then that is NOT a big problem. We NEED the CONTENT filter on the MEDIA AND VIDEO page, you know?
- GREAT that the profile photos are good now. Thanks. I will invite everyone to reload their photos, over time. No problem.
- Email creation. As for manual creation: It is important that we CAN create emails. If "manual" is the only simple way, than that´s ok. But why is Gebhard the only one who can create emails? You mean the only one who can do it is the ADMINISTRATOR account, instead, right? But you have the login data, right? And currently, I am doing most of the website work anyway, so I could use that account for email creation, right?
If the creation of @betacodex.org emails involves other questions, then we have to clarify and test this, quickly.
- "Pioneer Case Studies" - I am glad this is easy to implement! We can call the page "Pioneers" or "Pioneer cases". No problem!

User problem "max no. of invitations"
Hi there to all network partners,
checking the technical part of this forum first, I found the below "user problem" Niels described was still active today as I checked out the button "Invite a friend" - therefore, I mention it here, addressing the technical specialists. Or maybe normal users currently are not allowed to invite ... is there an information on this topic? Thanks in advance.
Will take some time to explore the network ... especially the media section - huge!

Following this mentioned changes:
- A filter "by Content Type" for Media will cause a crack in the selection system, because it already does a natural filter. All the "presentation" content are being showing in Slides, and the other types are showing in Media. If I put it there also, the selection "presentation" will appear also, but will return nothing, since it is already been showing in Slides.
- Profiles Photos are ok now! I had tested it and went well done (look at mine here in forum). But all people will need to upload their photos again, because when they did it before, the system already downscaled it with poor quality.
- The question for automatic generation of @betacodex.org emails is somewhat complex, and it will evolve other questions beyond the portal capabilities (hosting plan mostly). The only one that can create emails manually by now is Gebhard.
- "Pioneer Case Studies" needs a better call name for the main menu, since the space in there is already short. Decided that, it will be quick to implement.
