Web-based tool for Beyond Budgeting/BetaCodex thesis database

Dear all,
for our new project, "The Beyond Budgeting/BetaCodex thesis guide" (http://www.betacodex.org/node/512) we are looking for an open source web based tool that serves our needs. Perhaps s.o. can advice on this point. A web-based mysql database can be provided.

thanks for your reply. At first I thought what you suggested, too. Actually this would both a nice, fast and cheap solution.
On the other hand I imagine a solution which is based on a real database like a mysql, whose frontent enables search by all categories that I suggested. For example you are looking for papers of all kinds which were published later than 2006, which have at least generation 2 and which were written in Swedish. Actually currently such a search would be impossible with your proposal, as eg Swedish is not implemented as a language on this portal.
Furtherly I imagine that there should be a selection of the research focus eg Beyond Budgeting or BetaCodex. Personally I would like to list further thesises which are from a similiar research field, eg like Dialog-based leadership or even Management Innovation (laterly should be increase in the future, the first dissertations are currently written)

Hi Niels,
after evaluating some proffessional open source digital depository systems eg like dspace I came to the conclusion that hosting such a professional system may at the moment too expansive.
I decided to accept your offer to use this website to implement the thesis database.
Yesterday I already figured out to create a page like the slides page or the paper page and I managed to create a new node type for the thesises. However currently the filters for browsing through the available thesises don't work probably. Maybe you can ask Marcel to fix this :-). Using this scheme adding foreign languages should be no problem.

Great suggestion! But wouldn´t an additional "resource page" on this web portal do the trick as well? Something like the "Slides" or "Papers" pages on this site? This way, all site administrators could add documents directly to this portal, once the data for registration data is known to any of us.
Creating a resource page like that is pretty easy, and the benefit is that the thesises would be immediately integrated into the portal.
